The hunt for Aurora Borealis///
On August 1st, the entire Earth-facing side of the sun erupted in a tumult of activity. There was a C3-class solar flare wich allowed formation of northern lights at lower northern latitudes. The only recorded phenomenon at this latitude occurred back in the 70′s. In the first photo on the left part you can see some green colouring, the second photo is a small segment of the Milky Way.
